The Club Championship is conducted over two days at the end of the Summer Series. All 18-Hole Club Division players will compete in a 36-hole competition over two days, while 9-Hole Club Division players will compete in a nine-hole competition contested on the first day of play. The field is comprised of the top 9- and 18-Hole Club Division players from each of the Club age groups. This competition is designed to ready those players who desire advancement to the Open Division. The top three players in each age group of the 18-Hole Club Championship will earn exemptions into the Grand Championship, the 18-Hole Open Division season-ending championship held the following week.
ELIGIBILITY/DIVISIONS: All qualifiers must be current AJG Members. Invitations will be sent to the following individuals: (1) defending overall AJG Club Champions from the 9- or 18-Hole Club Division currently playing in the same division as the previous year and (2) remaining players qualify on points as follows (all ties for final spots in each age group qualify):
9-Hole Club Boys 12 & Under (Top 30 and ties)
9-Hole Club Boys 13 & Over (Top 18 and ties)
9-Hole Club Girls 7-18 (Top 12 and ties)
18-Hole Club Boys 13-14 (Top 42 and ties)
