Round One Tee Times Available |
Starting times for round one of the 2008 Grand Championship will be available online after 5:00 pm on Friday, July 25. Tee times for subsequent rounds will be available shortly after play for all age groups has concluded each day. Approximate tee times for all divisions are now available on the event home page. |

Contestant Practice Rounds |
Contestant practice rounds may be scheduled through the Callaway Gardens Resort golf shop for any day prior to the Grand Championship for $25.00 per junior golfer (plus tax). While not required, many contestants choose to play their practice round on Monday, July 28 before the mandatory rules meeting (the final tee time available to Grand Championship contestant on this day is 2:00 pm). Excluding Monday, July 28, all practice round tee times must be scheduled after 11:00 am. All players must contact the golf shop at (800) 282-8181 and identify themselves as an Atlanta Junior Golf participant to arrange their own practice round tee time. Parents or others accompanying the junior golfer may play at a rate of $40 per person. |

Mandatory Player Registration |
Please arrive during this time to check-in with the Atlanta Junior Golf Staff. Player gifts and important tournament information will be distributed to all contestants.
All players MUST check-in during this time period and will not be permitted to participate in the event if they fail to do so.
Registration will be conducted on the lawn outside the Callaway Gardens Resort golf shop (adjacent to the scoreboard and behind the #1 tee of the Mountain View Course). Player meeting/cookout and longest drive contest will follow. |

Mandatory Player Meeting |
During this time a discussion of the tournament rules will be conducted by the Atlanta Junior Golf Staff. Please note that it is MANDATORY for all players to attend. If you fail to be present during this portion of the evening, you will not be permitted to participate in the event and will NOT be refunded your entry fee.
The meeting will be held on the lawn outside the Callaway Gardens Resort golf shop (adjacent to the scoreboard and behind the #1 tee of the Mountain View Course). Dinner/cookout and longest drive contest will follow. |

Longest Drive Contest |
All contestants are invited to participate in the Longest Drive Contest, to be held on hole #1. All players will compete against each other (no divisions), with additional yards added to participants from the Boys 12 & Under (50), Boys 13-14 (25), and Girls (50) Divisions. All participants will hit only one (1) drive that must land in the fairway to qualify. The longest drive will win a $50 gift certificate to the Callaway Gardens Resort golf shop.
If you're interested in participating in this contest, you must inform us during on-site registration.
Participate in this event before or after you eat dinner, but do it quickly before we run out of daylight! |

Player/Family Cookout |
Immediately following registration and the mandatory player meeting, all contestants are invited to stay for some great food and fun at the annual player/family cookout.
The menu is set to include potato salad, chips, grilled hamburgers and cheeseburgers, brownies, and assorted beverages.
The cookout is available to all players and is included in the cost of entry. Additional tickets may be purchased for guests ($20 each) of the player by contacting the Atlanta Junior Golf office (770.850.9040 or info@atlantajuniorgolf.org) before 5:00 pm on Friday, July 25. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional dinner tickets while registering to participate in the event online. |
