**THIS EVENT IS NOT A SUMMER SERIES EVENT AND WILL NOT COUNT TOWARD THE TEMPORARY REGISTRATION LIMIT OF SIX SUMMER SERIES EVENTS**
The Atlanta-Kauai Team Challenge is a Ryder Cup-style match play event in which 14 juniors from Atlanta Junior Golf and 14 juniors from Kauai Junior Golf compete for the coveted Cup. Alternating the location each year gives each team the opportunity to host the event while giving the juniors a chance to experience the different cultures of Atlanta, Georgia and Kauai, Hawaii. This two-day, 36-hole qualifier is conducted to determine Team Atlanta for 2009. This event is open to junior golfers in the 18-Hole Division only.
The team will travel to Kauai, Hawaii for the 2009 event Tuesday, October 6 through Sunday, October 11 (detailed travel plans will be released as soon as they are available). Players will stay with the Kauai team's host families in Hawaii free of charge, but are responsible for paying their own airfare and bringing spending money.
